Battery monitor II h:up alarm

Postby maron on Thu Aug 08, 2013 7:47 am

Ever since I replaced my batteries the high voltage alarm keeps going off continuously when charging engine or battery charger. Can it be adjusted or stopped beside using red button.
Thank you Bill Aronis

The voltage is probably too high for safe operation, hence the alarm.

I recall there is a way to disable the alarm, but I don't have access to the manual at this time.

I have been to busy to look at replies. I have the manual that came with the unit but have not found any description of shutting off the alarm. Even if I could turn it off when it disable all alarms, the low battery is useful. The alarm sounds when the engine is running or not so would I have to adjust the 110 battery charger and the voltage relator settings? Thanks for replying.

I finally found a copy of the manual from 1992.

You can disable all alarms except high battery voltage. See paragraph 8.1.

You cannot disable an individual alarm. See paragraph 8.2
