The purpose of this forum is to provide support for Ample Power users. There are common issues, and by reading posts here you may be able to find a solution to your problem.

To be most useful, the forum content must to be educational. Questions should be pertinent, which generally means short. Questions which can't be understood can't be answered correctly.

Manuals and drawings have been checked and rechecked, not only for accuracy, but for completeness. That's not to say you can't find an error or omission, but please read the information a few times before raising a flag. The manuals and drawings represent the best way to install and operate the equipment. Not following the manual may cause equipment failure, and it does void the warranty.

The leader of our technical staff has nearly 50 years experience designing electronic and power systems, including mission critical hardware and software used on nuclear submarines, nuclear power plants, and uranium enrichment plants -- not to mention thousands of small energy systems. You can be certain that the way systems are designed has been carefully considered, with many options explored.

Not helpful are long dissertations about a better way to implement a function, unless the author has taken the time to read the content on the Ample Power website, and the two books, "Living On 12V with Ample Power", and "Wiring 12V for Ample Power." Armed with that information, you'll most likely see the value of the Ample Power way.

We understand that failures can be frustrating, but be patient and respectful. We'll do our best to help.

Thanks.
