engine runs then stops after 4 seconds

We start the engine and it runs great for four seconds , then it stops. Seems the power from the oil pressure switch quits and shuts down the throttle solenoid. I know there is oil pressure because the motor runs great for a while. So we tested the leads on the oil pressure switch and the red wire side from the starter motor seems to be to ground, Is that normal? could my 30amp new relay to run the water pump ect.. be to small and giving up? We think the regulator is the a sv2 , but i don't believe this has anything to do with it. If the oil pressure switch is bad and creates to much resistance could cause this to happen.

Thanks

Is this a question about the Ample Power Genie?

If so, please post it in the appropriate section.

Thanks
