Leonard, we would recommend Kel Marine Services, Greg Kelchner, 954.609.5619, Ft. Lauderdale. Greg has installed our equipment since the late 1990s. There's also Lauderdale Battery, 954.525.2046, Aulan Fitzpatrick. Let us know if you need more information. Thanks for contacting us.

Have you read the information here?

The regulator will not overcharge batteries just to keep the tachometer alive.

Ruth - thank you. Its a great system and has operated almost flawlessly since installation in 1999, inlcuding at low RPMS which seems can be an issue according to the other response and reference link. An electrical engineer installed the system in Seattle with direct access to the Ample Power folks and seems to have done an extraordinary job based on my years as a mechanic with Rybovich years ago. Greg sounds like a resource with experience with the Ample Power System who will know what he's looking at and the nuances of its behavoir. Again, thank you. Lenny
