Proper "EQL" setup

Hi CoolOhm,
Just a question on the EQL wire, would it be permisable to connnect this permenatly to the positive distribution, without a switch to function as a permenant current limiting device? This would allow the other current limit to be switch operated with a load. If so, could this backfeed and put a slight "load" on this wire? Thanks in advance!

PS, any more insight on a future revision allowing a slower, or adjustable ramp up to full output?

The EQL input can be used as a second current limit as long as the internal jumper that enables equalization is not installed. The draw on the line is negligible.

There won't be any revisions to the V3 regulator.
