SARV3 Equalization

An SARV3 set up for Concorde AGM batteries will not go into equalization mode. Is it possible that equalization mode is not available for the Concorde setting?
"P1" was shorted out using the supplied jumper and 12V+ was connected to "EQL" terminal via a switch and held for 2 seconds. The Reg did not change status led's and the voltage remained at a steady 14.38V

It sounds like you've done everything right. AGM batteries will get equalized.

Is it possible that the dipswitch that sets battery type in set incorrectly.

There are other posts on the forum about equalization that may be pertinent.

Yes I checked the dip switches three times to ensure they were on Concorde AGM setting,

I waited untill the batteries were on Absorbtion charge before trying to activate equalization again, the status LED remained on absorbtion mode and did not indicate equalization mode and the battery voltage did not change.

My understanding was that I had not engauged equalization mode, could you please tell me the exact procces for entering equalization mode and what i can expect to see to let me know i have achieved equal. mode.

Thank you

Have you turned R12 all the way CCW? The eql stops when the setpoint is reached and if you haven't set the pot to zero, it will instantaneously hit the setpoint.

How do you know you are 'all the way'? My pot meter screw continues to turn CCW, no matter how often I turn it.

The pots are 20-turns with an override clutch, so if in doubt, turn 20 revolutions.
