SAR V3 Equalization

I have set all parameters for equalization (I think):
Shorted Pin 1,
Turned pot meter 12 screw CCW (I seem to be able to turn this screw CCW for ever, how far does one go?),
Set the Amps to 40A (I have 780 Ahrs nominally),
Set Equalization to TRUE (I presume that Auto remains one TRUE as there are no instructions to change this as well?),
but WHAT EXACTLY do I hold for a minimum of 2 seconds to commence equalization?

Somwhere else you say that equalization using SAR V3 does not involve the EMON. Does this mean that I have to make no changes whatsoever to the EMON settings, including
[1]those that set the max current for equalizing (3-7% of nominal Ahrs),
[2]nor the TRUE/FALSE switch for EQUALIZE?.
[3]What about the equalizing time?

Your response is important to me as I still have not been able to equalize my batteries and currently they don't perform.

You need to hold down (keep contact) on Limit 2 switch for over 2 seconds, for the cycle to start. Good luck

Nothing you do for equalization on the Emon has any affect on the SAR V3.
