Lifeline Battery Settings

Lifeline battery settings please.

The technical manual provided with lifeline has the following:

At 77 degrees F.

Bulk rate: 14.52 volts
Absorption: 14.4 volts
Float: 13.26 volts

I currently have the dip switches set for the Trojan (??) Gels and it seems that the voltages are quite a bit lower than what Lifeline recommends.

Also seem to be having a problem intiating the equalization mode. Jumper is in place and dip switches at Trojan Gels. I put 12 vots to the equalization pin for 3 seconds and I get the 6 second on off signal at the board but the voltage measured never comes up beyond 12.8 volts. Any suggestions appreciated.

Use the Lifeline AGM setting.

What current are you using for equalization?

Hi,

My owners brochure has no "Lifeline" Settings for the DIP switch........I purchased the V-3 in January of 2010. I will visit the Ample Power website for tech/ owner brochure.

Regarding the equalization, I was using 15 amps.

Thanks

Sorry for the confusion. Lifeline is a 'brand' made by Concord Battery Company.

The manual for the SAR V3 at http://www.amplepower.com/manuals/sarv3/index.html shows Concorde AGM as the 4th selection.

What manual are you using?

It's 2017 now and the manual at that link just says "AGM" for the 4th DIP switch setting. In this posting ( http://www.amplepower.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=618&p=2437&hilit=Lifeline+battery#p2437 ) you recommend using the A"mple Power Gel" setting based on the Lifeline specified bulk and float voltages. Coulomb could you provide a table of the (industry standard) 77 deg F, 25 deg C bulk, absorb and float voltages that correspond to each of the battery type settings on the V3? Such a table would be very helpful. Thanks!
