smart alternator regulator v3

this continues previous post on feb. 11

I have operated the above system for a numnber of years, and have very few problems, all of which were soved by tracking down the negative side of the system. Recently I had to repolace the old gear (transmission) in the vessel. The engine had to be realligned about 3/4 inch higher. In the process, all the negative wiring and about half of the positive wiring was disconnected. Since then the regulator will shut down entirely for no apparent reason. Sometimes, say 15 minutes after starting the engine, and sometimes it will drive the alternator for hours and then shut down. I would appreciate any comments from whomever has had any of the same problems.

ps: What should dip switches 1, 2, and 3 be set on if I am using west marine agm batteries?

It's most likely a corroded connection that sometimes opens up.

Remove the in-line fuses and clean them with alcohol.

Set dip switches for Concorde AGM.
