My regulator shows Green LED 2 seconds on and 1 off. Red LED 3 seconds on and 1 off. The alternator is not charging.

The measurements on my regulator are as follows:

Parellel 0.11 0.11 0.14

Ground 0.0 0.0 0.0
B+ 12.77 12.73 12.75
Field 0.03 0.01 0.43
Alt. Gnd. 0.0 0.0 0.0
Lock 0.0 0.0 0.0
Bat. Volts 12.75 12.75 12.75

T+ 0.0 3.03 0.03

Thanks for whatever help you can provide.

Did you make a typo in the T+ measurement? We'd expect the last two columns to be the same, around 3 V.

The unit can be repaired - about $175.00.

Thanks for the info. You have confirmed what I thought.... that the regulator needs to be repaired. I have a spare (which was repaired a few years ago by Ample Power) which I will install. Then I will mail the defective back to you guys. Are there any specific shipping instructions that I need to follow?

Eric

P.S. The voltage figures on the T+ are correct from my notes. I'll try to confirm later today with a new measurement before I swap the regulators.

I will ship my regulator to your address for repair. How should I handle the payment?

Include contact information with the regulator and someone will give you a repair estimate.
