I sent regulator in earlier in the week with diagnostic sheet. Ruth Ishihara sent the following message:

Terry, received your regulator, but have not checked it out as yet.
The tech looked over your readings and thought they appeared good. They did
comment that you could have a wrong sized fuse or something wrong with the
alternator. We would urge you to post further questions on the support
forum. Thanks.

For some reason, could not send from my ruth@amplepower.com address, so am sending from this address. Please use the ample address if you respond. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Ruth Ishihara

The alternator was checked by shop last week and isworking fine. The 3 amp fuse has been in use for the past 3 years and worked fine. Please advise on nexrt step. Thank you, Terry Coyle tcoyle@outwardbound.org 207-596-1602

The fuse is between the Regulator on/off pin and the battery. Terry

Terry, we have checked out your NEXT and there was no problem found. What size fuse are you using? It should be a 3 amp slow blow fuse.

Received the following from Ruth:
"Terry, the regulator checked out good. The tech thought it could be a
wiring problem or fuse sizing, should have a 3 amp slow blow fuse.
Cost for testing is $65.00 plus shipping and handling.
Please advise. Thanks much.

Ruth Ishihara

Terry,

You can send it back for retest, but I suspect that something is not right in the wiring.
