changed out two 9 year old AGM4Ds with two Lifeline AGM in parallel. When power up the green light blinks several times then goes solid green. No initial red or other light patterns. Voltage at batteries is 14.57 +/- for one hour then steps down to 13.95 +/- VDC. What is happening or not?

The regulator appears to be working OK. The red led is only on for a few seconds when the unit is powered up, or there is an error.

The voltage is higher than expected, unless the batteries are cold.

There is no red light when powering up. Should I otherwise test it? I discussed the voltages at various temps and Lifeline
Battery said it was OK with them. Thanks

Loss of the red LED doesn't affect regulation, but errors can not be reported.

I have same problem. Solid green light at all times, but the EMON shows everything working properly...Would it make sense to install the optional error lamp or is it more likely the led or error circut that's bad?
By the way, is the "Remote Alarm #2003" still available from you? didn't find it in the "store"
Is the "Eliminator" still serviced/repaired by Ample Power?

Most likely the error circuit has been blown up from faulty wiring or an overload.

If the "error circuit" is blown, would an add on alarm work? If not, can it be repaired?

No, adding the alarm will not work if the circuit is defective.

It can be repaired.
