NO Battery Voltage

Postby Mbaul on Fri May 09, 2014 4:46 am

The regulator is a Next Step LLNS12P Blue Case. It shows the trouble code for no battery sense. 3 seconds on 1 off, the battery sense wire has 12.7 volts at the terminal.

Has the regulator failed?

If so what is the trade in or the best way to get a new one?

It's broken.

There is a $50 rebate and free shipping in the US when you buy either an NS2 or Smart Alternator Regulator.

Yea, that is what I figured.

This is a Royale Prevost conversion.

It does not charge 2 banks only the house bank which is 6 8D AGMs. The Regulator drives a 400 amp oil cooled Delco Alternator.

I prefer a terminal system as opposed to a plug in system

My direct email is atlanticmc@aol.com if it is easier.

With that large an alternator you will want to go with the Smart Alternator Regulator.

It does use a pluggable terminal block, but larger and higher current rated than the NS2.

Okay, I will order a Smart Regulator. The web site show 449 plus shipping.

You said 50 rebate and free shipping. How do I get this in the cart?

I want to order it with the rebate, but need 3 day shipping. I understand I will probably need to pay a shipping up charge but the cart does not provide any of these options.

Tell me how and I will order it right now.

Or you can respond via direct email to atlanticmc@aol.com or call me at 301-908-4747.

I like you and your products, but need your help on this one.

YTHANKS

I've passed this on to Ruth, who will call you so a unit can be shipped on Monday.

Hi,

I received the V3 regulator and confirming what dip switch settings I should use. I have Lifeline AGM batteries, 6 8Ds. Lifeline wants 14.2 to 14.6 for Bulk and Absorption, 13.2 to 13.4 for float. Could you please tell me the correct dip switch settings for these batteries.
Thanks
