Battery Combiner Feature with NO eliminator

hi
i am trying to understand if I can use the NextStep2 to regulate also solar and wind generators WITHOUT installing an eliminator ? That is what i see from the Battery Combiner Feature
than, would either of this this examples work well: ???

- nextstep2 with solenoid to regulate all DC sources into all battery banks, if batteries are of the same nature (with manual parallel switch on the solenoid to connect the two banks in case of failure of any of them)

- or nextstep2 to regulate all DC sources into house battery bank (AGM) and than a Schottky Diode to charge the calcium lead starting battery. again with the parallel selenoid feature

Wire according to the NS2 manual. Don't use the diode to the starter battery.

Keep absorption time to a minimum to attain full charge on the house bank.
