Having purchased a 4023 alternator and NS2 in April I am unable to get it to work properly. It is installed on a Volvo 2030D replacing the stock alternator. The biggest issue is attaching the wires from the old alt to the new.
The Volvo alt had 4 posts with wires labeled and mounted as follows:
B+ Positive
B- Negative (ground) and (wire to glow relay)
W (wire goes to tachometer)
D+ (wire to rocker switch. Glow plug – alarm test acknowledge) and (wire to electronics module which is for alarms)
