Cross charge diode

Regarding the Cross Charge Diode ( CCD ).

I am interested in using the CCD in a LFP battery set-up. These banks require a disconnect system to protect the LFP bank in case of too high or too low voltages...If this happens the voltages should either be switched off or redirected to another battery or to a load.

In other words: the charging goes through the CCD, then to the battery switch, then to the LFP battery. If the battery switch is opened will the CCD second battery connection post then allow the charge to be redirected to another battery?

Can the CCD can be used for this?
