4023-s questions

I have recently rebuilt my 1023 with the 4023 rebuild kit -- the alternator tests and looks great, thanks! Two questions .. 1) what does the "saddle mount" look like that is supplied with a new 4023-s alternator for Yanmar engine mounting? Is there a particular style of drive belt that is recommended to match the "v" shape of the Yanmar (I have a 3GM30f) and APC sheaves? thx -- Alan

The Yanmar sheave is 10mm and the alternator one should be the same.

Thank you very much for the excellent illustration. The 1023 alternator and my Yanmar 3gm30f engine (1987 vintage) have a "V' shaped sheave - are the "V" shaped pulley/sheaves all the same angle or is that something I am making too much?

I should have noted that we supply the sheave as needed for the application. When you specify the engine as Yanmar, then you get a V-belt sheave for 10mm belts.
