Smart Charge Manager discontinued?

I have a complete Ample Power system installed in my boat, including Smart Charge Manager, PSC-55, SARV3, Isolator Eliminator and EMON II.
I'm charging an AGM house battery and an Optima starting battery.
The system has been working great for over 5 years now.
Last season our SCM developed a problem and has some damage from a short.
When I called Ample Power for a replacement, I was told that the Smart Charge Manager is no longer available.
Is there an alternative to the SCM? I need something to manage the charging in my system.
The SCM is an integral component in my system, and it's a big problem for me that it's not available, and no alternative is being offered.
Can you please explain why the SCM is no longer available or supported?

Also is it possible to get parts and repair the unit myself?
I think a terminal block (TB1) might fix my problem.

Also, if you can advise on the option of having the unit repaired at Ample Power, I would appreciate it.

Consumers in the U.S. essentially quit buying starting in November of 2008 and throughout most of 2009. We were fortunate to have overseas sales, and some business supplying power systems to remote telcomm sites.

However, like many companies, Ample Power was forced to lay off staff and re-assess what products could profitably be continued with the reduced volume. The SCM was discontinued. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

The SCM may be repairable. Repairs are being done on a part time basis, so scheduling is vague, 2-4 weeks.
