solid ON red error light

Went for a 3 day cruise. First day after 2 hour cruise red light was on. The 2nd day, also a 2 hour trip the red light was off. Coming home today was half an hour and when I arrived the red light was on steady again. The system charged the batteries properly the entire time.

Do you have an external connection to the error signal?

This regulator has run on the test bench for 3 days without a hiccup.

Are you confusing the orange light for the red light?

I don't know what you mean "an external connection to the error signal". The error LED is on the board and the connections are per your instructions.

Also don't know what you mean "orange" light. Looking at the board there are 3 LED's - your documentation says the one on the left is the error LED and it is Red. Never heard of an orange one.

Had short (30 minute cruise) two days ago. Anchored and ran off house batteries - ran them down to 60% - short cruise back. Regulator still working fine, batteries charged a bit on the return leg and error LED stayed on from the time I left the dock to the time I returned.

Maybe I should try another reboot????

Do you have a connection to TB2-2?

The orange/amber LED illuminates when the house battery is charging. It is the parallel signal.

The regulator is executing code, so a reboot won't help.

Sorry Dave! I have been wasting your time. I sent my nephew in for a dose look and you are correct, it is the middle LED that is glowing and he says it looks orange. My apologies for wasting your time.

The orange LED never goes out though even when the boats been at the dock for a week and not plugged to shore power.
