Converting an alternator to external regulation

One of my Bosch K1-14v-2/120 amp alternators recently burn out. The replacement Bosch alternator was supplied with an internal regulator integrated with the brush holder and therefore not usable with my Next Step regulator. Bosch are unable (or unwilling) to assist as their alternators are all supplied with internal regulators. Can you suggest where I can source a third party replacement brush holder that has a spade connector for the field wire from the Next Step regulator or alternatively directions on modifying the existing brush holder to eliminate the regulator.

I recall trying to find one several years ago, but don't remember the outcome. I'll ask the alternator guru when she returns from vacation.

Without the part number of the Bosch alternator, no one can begin to look.
