Alternator 4059 wiring help

I've just purchased a boat with a 4059 alternator which is not connected, could someone help with a wiring diagram, or tell me has the 4059 got an internal regulator or does it need an external. The connections are main live and neg and two terminals marked STA and FLD I'm only guessing where these should be connected hope someone can help

The alternator needs an external regulator such as the Smart Alternator Regulator, V3 or the NS2.

STA is the stator connection, used for RPM indicators. FLD is the field connection from the external regulator.
