NS2 Power consumption on battery line

Postby AMoore on Wed Sep 25, 2013 3:16 pm

I understand that there is a turn on signal for the NS2, but when it is off, what is the power consumption on the battery connection to the regulator.

For storage without any additional charger connected - it it better to disconnect the regulator from the batteries?

If this is worth considering doing - any issues on reconnect? - does the regulator need time to stabilize before the startup signal is applied or can both occur together?

Current draw is less than 0.01 Amps when not regulating. That's 0.24 Ah per day, maximum.

You can apply B+ and IGN at the same time.

Thanks - both answers are good, 10mA is certainly not much. Can probably live with that.
