Got it installed, seems to work fine. Only tested it by running for 10 or 15 minutes.

I notice the B+ is hot all the time. This coach may sit for a few weeks at a time, should I run the B+ thru the switch so it is only hot when the key is on?

Got the V3 installed and it appears to be working fine, only ran the coach for 10 to 15 minutes. I did notice during the install the B+ is hot all the time. The On-Off trigger is wired correctly. My question is should the B+ be wired thru the key switch as well. The coach may sit for several weeks at a time.

Sorry for the multiple posts asking the same thing.... Not sure exactly what happened to the 2 that are the same, then my one this AM, the other 2 did not appear at first.

The B+ is hot so the unit can operate as a battery combiner when something else is charging the system, i.e. AC utility.

For some reason 3 posts I made had disappeared, so I will try again.

Got the regulator installed, it all seems to work.

My question is the B+ terminal is hot all the time. This unit may sit for several weeks at a time without being run. Should I change the B+ wire to be hot only when the key is on?

Idle current is very little. Switches tend to break, and long wires are not good in the B+ wire. The best option is to leave it hot, and only turn it off when the main battery switch is off.
