Amperage Control

I have an NS2 regulator with a 150 amp alternator on my boat engine.
My battery bank consists of 2 in paralell, 12V AGM Odyssey 2150 batteries of 105 Ahr each.
These batteries can take as much amperage as you can throw at them, up to 3 times the amp hour rating.

How can I control the NS2 reg. to continue with a high amperage charge to top up these batteries in a shorter charge period?

They may take that level of current when deeply discharged, but at the end, they self-limit like every other battery in the world.

Of course you can raise the absorption setpoint until they start blowing out gas from the over pressure vents, but that won't substantially increase the actual rate of absorption within the plates.
