39.9 volts battery two

why does the voltage on battery two (engine start batt.) always show 39.9 volts? battery one is correct

ok. I have a (EMON II) system with the (next) regulator. the start battery is the number 2 and the house system is the number 1 system. for some reason; the number 2 battery voltage now reads a constant 39.9 volts. the house (number 1) batteries reads properly. I checked all the fuses and they are intact. I am also having an issue with the regulator reading too high a voltage. I do not know if they are connected. I don't think so but?? this happened only this spring, otherwise the system has been exceptional. I bought the whole system from Rabbit back in the 90's. would it be time to upgrade the regulator? I will be going to the boat today to work on the system. need your advice

Full scale on the Emon is 39.9, so for some reason, B2 channel is measuring full scale. It may be a fault in the Emon.

Check all the grounds for good connections or corrosion. With both the regulator and Emon having issues, it could easily be a bad connection.

I checked all connections and found one wire off the TB1 , the wire is white but I do not know which terminal it should go to. I really need this unit to start working soon or my trip is off

by the way, last year I sent the EMON back for repair, so that should be good.

the TB1 is for the emon II-h1 from March, 1994
