EMON settings in non-standard temperature conditions

Postby HansR on Tue Jul 27, 2010 12:38 am

The EMON and SAR V3 documentation says everywhere that the settings suggested are based on standard conditions (approx 27C).

What happens when you have to reset your settings (as I have had to do) in a climate where the average temperature is 32-33C?
Does the thermo element make the necessary adjustments or do I have to make adjustments to the standard settings?
And if so what to use as a guideline?

Regards

You always set the parameters according to the 25C values. The equipment adjusts according to the battery temperature. The units default to 25C when there is no temperature sensor connected, so remove the positive wire of the temperature sensor at the unit, make the adjustment, and re-attach the sensor wire.
