Volts, Amps and Amp-Hours

BatMon is the latest addition to the Ample Power Amp-hour monitors. It displays battery voltage, battery current, and Amp-hours consumed from the battery. Voltage is measured to 19.99 Volts full scale. Current is measured to 200 Amps with 0.1 Amps of resolution. Amp-hours are measured to 800 Ah.

Tracks Discharge and Charge Amps

A continuous indication of Amp-hours consumed is displayed. When the battery is discharged, the meter counts Amp-hours consumed. When the battery is charged, the Ah display rewinds back toward zero.

Displays Overcharge

Overcharge is shown by a positive Amp-hours on the display. Amp-hours of overcharge are accumulated by the BatMon. Battery charge efficiency is adjustable, and once adjusted, a reading of zero on the meter indicates a fully charged battery. Efficiency is easily adjusted using a digital meter since it is directly read by the meter.

Displays Charge and Discharge Amps

Voltage and current are also continuously displayed. Both discharge and charge current are shown with a minus sign indicating discharge.

Reset When You Know It's Full

No more guessing about when the meter resets to zero. Do it when you've charged the battery to the full mark. A wire is brought out of the shunt assembly that can be used to reset it when desired.

Power of 12 Volts

Power of 12 Volts is required. The BatMon is not made in 24-Volts.

Easy Installation

The BatMon is the easiest Ah meter in the world to install. The unit comes in two pieces, the shunt assembly, and the display head. The two units are connected via a telephone type cable.

Here's how easy the unit is to install. Cut the negative wire leaving the battery bank and crimp two lugs on the ends. Attach the two lugs to the shunt assembly using the supplied bolts. Now attach the small red wire exiting the shunt assembly to battery positive. Connect one end of the telephone cable to the shunt assembly, and the other to the BatMon display assembly. You're done.

Dimensions and Mounting:

The BatMon panel dimensions are 3 inches, (76.2mm), high by 4.5 inches, (114.3mm) wide. Allow about 2 inches, (50.8mm), behind the panel.
