(Bio)Diesel Battery Charger Specifications
Introduction Diesel battery chargers, DBC, are engine and alternators system designed to charge batteries efficiently with direct DC. Engines can be operated on regular petroleum diesel, or clean bio-fuels. Part numbers are given with a prefix of DBC followed by 2 digits indicatiing the voltage of the energy battery, followed by a hypen and the charge current capability. The DBC series of products include the EnerMatic controller Review its data sheet and specifications for further detail. The engine is pre-wired with a mating connector to plug into the EnerMatic Controller. The standard DBC is built on an open frame with vibration dampeners attached. Any enclosure may be optionally available. Power limiting is set by the EnerMatic Controller and user programmable. Operating RPM can be changed manually and power limit adjusted accordingly. Higher RPM allows more electrical power to be delivered, while lower RPM will require a lower power limit. Specification Table
